The only information I have about this young woman is this description: Indígena de la clase rica (Mestiza sangley-filipina). Photograph by the Dutch photographer, Francisco van Camp, ca. 1875. She’s a Chinese mestiza from the Philippines. I don’t know if standards of beauty were the same in the 19th century, but by today’s standards, she’s absolutely stunning.
